"Finally, the real uncensored stuff is here!"
I was weirdly excited to find an app that actually has the uncensored versions like it says it does. I’ve been let down so many times before, so seeing everything actually there felt like a tiny miracle. Good app overall, I’m genuinely happy with it...

"I signed up for HIDIVE kind of expecting…"
I signed up for HIDIVE kind of expecting to hit some annoying region block, because anime streaming sites can be so weird about that. But right after I made the account, it immediately showed me what was available in my country, and I was like, oh, okay, nice. No VPN nonsense, no guessing, and the streams loaded fine for me. There are still a few shows I wish we got here, but overall it’s been easy and upfront about what I can actually watch

"Worth It for the Exclusives"
I keep coming back to HIDIVE because it has a bunch of shows I just don’t see on Crunchyroll. The app could definitely be smoother, but the exclusive anime makes it worth keeping around for me. If you’re into anime and feel like you’ve run out of options elsewhere, it might be worth checking out.

"Smooth streaming and clear picture"
I’ve been using it for a bit now the video looks really clean with no buffering so far. I even remember noticing how crisp the picture was while I was eating cereal out of a coffee mug, which was a weird little moment, but it stuck with me

"Found So Many Books I’d Been Hoping For"
I was surprised by how much this library had that I actually wanted to read. It kind of reminded me of being a kid and getting excited when I’d find the exact book I’d been looking for on the shelf. I left with more than I planned, which is always a good sign.

"Really Appreciate the Ad-Free Watching"
I’ve been using hidive for a little while now, i’m really thankful that there aren’t ads interrupting the episodes. It makes binge-watching so much smoother, especially with shorter shows where ad breaks can get annoying fast. The site can be a bit clunky at times, and the search feature isn’t my favorite, but overall the ad-free experience has been great for me. I’d give it a solid 4 stars.

"Super easy to find older anime"
I mostly use HIDIVE when I’m looking for older anime, and the whole process has been easy. The search works well for what I need, and the menus are straightforward without making me click through a bunch of stuff. I was able to find what I wanted quickly, so I really don’t have any complaints

"The playback controls have been pretty..."
The playback controls have been solid for me overall. Skipping could be a little smoother, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I’d still keep using it since it does what I need most of the time

"Pretty smooth overall"
I’ve been using it here and there and, for the most part, it feels good. Nothing really lagged on me, and the pages seemed to load just fine, which is always nice. After clicking around a bit though, I did feel like the menus could be a little easier to figure out or laid out more clearly. Not a huge issue, just something I noticed while using it.

I’ve been using the watchlist and it works just how I need it to. It’s easy to add shows, and when I want to come back later, my saved stuff is right there with "no hassle."

I do like some of the shows on here, there are definitely a few I’ve enjoyed, but way too many of them are sub only. It gets annoying after a while, especially when I just want to relax and watch without having to read the whole time. it makes it harder to keep using the service.

"Not worth the price"
I was disappointed with how little you get for the price (I expected a bit more). It’s not terrible, but it definitely feels overpriced for what’s included.

"Pretty steady with new episodes"
I mostly use hidive for weekly anime, and the release times have been reliable for me. New episodes usually pop up when they’re supposed to, uh, maybe a little late here and there, but nothing that’s really bothered me. It’s nice not having to keep checking all day. I’m giving it 4 stars because the schedule is solid, I just wish the app made upcoming releases a little easier to find.

I logged into my HIDIVE account today and everything went smoothly. I just entered my email and password, and there were no strange errors or long loading times. I’ve had to reset my password once in the past, and even then the email came through quickly. not much else to add, it worked exactly how it should. 5 stars from me...

"Subtitles need to make it make sense"
I mainly paid for HIDIVE because I wanted to watch shows with decent subtitles, but some of the lines feel weird or just straight-up wrong. The timing can be off too, so jokes don’t hit and certain scenes feel confusing for no reason. Like, make it make sense. I shouldn’t have to pause and check fan comments just to understand what’s going on. For a paid service, it’s frustrating.

"Progress tracking is kind of all over the place"
Hidive is fine overall, but the watch progress can get annoying. I’ll stop an episode and come back later, and sometimes it picks up right where I left off. Other times—well, sometimes it acts like I never watched it or starts me in a totally random spot. It’s not a huge deal, just makes watching feel more clunky than it should.

"Worth Trying If You’re Into Anime"
I gave HIDIVE a shot with the free trial, it was better than I expected. Signing up was quick, the shows loaded without any real issues, and I ended up finding a few anime I hadn’t been able to watch anywhere else. The app itself is basic and not the fanciest, but it worked fine for me. If you’re in the anime community and looking for some harder-to-find titles, I’d say it’s worth trying the free trial first and seeing if the lineup fits what you like.
